The Northern Ireland Goat Club is the oldest established goatkeeping organisation in Ireland. Founded in 1965, the NIGC actively promotes all activities associated with goatkeeping. Annual Dinner 12th February 2011
The Annual Club Dinner will be held in the Old Barn Steakhouse, Markethill, on Saturday 12th February 2011. There will be an auction after the dinner with music from the one and only Hugh Fitzgerald. Full details on our Coming Up section.

Club Meets with Minister

NIGC representatives met this summer with Agriculture Minister Michelle Gildernew and officials from DARD to discuss welfare concerns related to ear tagging. Also tabled were the current restrictions on importing breeding stock from GB.
